Chief Cartographer’s log, September 18th, 2011:
This past weekend I set course for Montreal (Quebec IV) for a convention. People from all over the galaxy and Beverly Hills were expected to attend. I was looking forward to see fellow Starfleet officers, Mr. Worf and Deanna. Unfortunately, one needed to pay extra for that. It appears that currency is still very present on 21st century Earth. It almost feels like we are on Ferenginar. I’m surprised people don’t quote the Rules of Acquisition.
I had a most unpleasant encounter with a Klingon, he almost killed me. Fortunately, I had some bloodwine to offer him. One can never be too cautious.
I reminded him that I was not his enemy; the Dominion is.
Darth was happy to see me, especially because I was wearing a t-shirt with his cousin’s name on it. He was in a especially joyous mood. Let’s just say I think I felt the good in him.
We had a lot to talk about because, you know, we are related; he’s my father’s brother’s cousin’s nephew’s former roommate.
I saw the Deloren, back from the future, though I didn’t see Marty, the Doc or Needles. Batman and Robin were there, but I only saw Mr. Wayne’s car.
The convention was filled with people; teachers, lawyers, carpenters, dental hygienists, proctologists, and of course cartographers. I was hoping to see Andorians, but had no luck. I had a craving for some Andorian Ale. Oh well, perhaps next time.
It was a pleasant journey. I am now back in Sector 001 and tomorrow I’m back to duty at 0900 hours. On a personal note, I can’t help but feel that I need some shore leave. I intend to bring that to the Captain asap.

thanks for the pictures of my Dark Helmet
